Cardinal Kurt Koch, President of the Vatican Council for Christian Unity, has asked the Urbi et Orbi Foundation to officially sponsor their newest project — a series of exchange visits between Catholic and Russia Orthodox priests. (A letter from the cardinal explaining the project is attached below.)

The the first visit of the series will take place May 14-21, 2016, as the Pontifical Council for Christian Unity will bring 10 Russian Orthodox priests to Rome for a week, to visit the Vatican and Rome.

This is a historic new project will help make a breakthrough in Vatican-Russian Orthodox relations, as this will be the first time that such an exchange has ever taken place; and it will lead to more exchanges in the future.

Through this and other projects, the Urbi et Orbi Foundation in collaboration with the Pontifical Council of Christian Unity hope to build off of the meeting on February 12, 2016, in Havana, Cuba, between Pope Francis and Russian Orthodox Patriarch Kirill.

Our Goal is to raise $15,000.00 to support this project,

Please consider supporting this new project and our work in general with a tax-deductible donation. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Thank you for the consideration.
